Famous Director Simultaneously Hits on Blogger's Girlfriend, Sister

Shreveport, LA -

Okay, y'all. Now, this latest occurence in my life really takes the cake as far as oddball occurrences go. My sister Sarah was in town visiting this weekend so, being the good host I am, took her to the set of a film here in town called "W." for which I am a part-time employee.

Due to a confidentiality agreement I signed, I can't tell you anything about the film. However, I can tell you that the very famous, very award-winning director, who we'll call "O.S." is directing the film.

So, there we were, sitting in the lobby of the soundstage when who should walk by but "O.S." himself. By sheer coincidence, Donna (my girlfriend) and Sarah (my sister) were sitting together on the bench. I know "O.S." is a busy man and I was quite surprised when he stopped and struck up a conversation with BOTH my sister and my girlfriend. He asked them if they wanted to be in his movie, smoothly, laughed, and then told them they would do well in the bellydancing scene.

I was excited at first, but my excitement soon morphed into shock when I realized that Oliver St...err..I mean "O.S." himself had hit on my sister AND my girlfriend simultaneously. Not many guys in America can make that claim, I'm sure.

Sarah was also excited because she stood next to Richard Dreyfuss. (He was in Jaws.)

I know one thing for sure. I'm going to think twice next time I drag my sister and girlfirend anywhere near famous movie directors.

That's the story of my life...

Bloggety Blog Blog!

Shreveport, LA- Today's post is dedicated to John York and Randy Wolff. I promised them I would start blogging more often, and since I have become the world's worst blogger I thought I would write one quickly while I am sitting here.

I am still working some very random jobs in the film industry in Sheveport. (Oliver Stone just walked by me if that tells you anything.) So far I drove Judd Apatow, slaved away in a production office and been Bernie Mac's piano coach for twelve minutes. (Ironically, it's a long story.)

Life is good. It still consists of one cup of coffee in the morning with a dash of cinnamon and the belief that good things will find me every day if I seek them.

I also just finished work on a five song demo with some production help from my girlfriend Donna Chance. This parallels work on a new website www.winstonhallmusic.com. Go check it out and leave feedback!!

I hope to reestablish writing with some regularity so check back often! Until next time remember, it's not what you can do, it's what you do do...so do do your best.

That's the story of my life...
